Money Funds Brace for Influx from Bank Deposits (WSJ)
The end of unlimited federal deposit insurance could push as much as $250 billion into money funds, further depressing yields.
BlackRock and Federated Investors may close their money-market funds to protect current investors, the WSJ reports. FBR Capital Markets estimated that as much as $250 billion could move into funds when businesses and cities look for a new home for cash.
