At the end of Q3 2011, U.S. non-financial companies had cash assets of $1.73 trillion–or 5.9% of total assets–according to data collected by the Financial Times earlier this year. Globally, that number may be even higher. Technology companies lead the field, with 24% of total assets in cash and equivalents. So which company has the most cash?
