The new version of SRC Software's corporate performance management suite provides fully integrated planning, budgeting, reporting and scorecarding applications, the company says. Thomas Malone, president and CEO of Portland, Ore.-based SRC, says that now customers can access all the applications with a single sign-on from one launch point, and all the applications can share data. Because the code for the modules was done at the same time, they all have the same look and feel, Malone says, adding that "the single source code base synchronizes long-range planning with short-term planning."

Ruth Igawa, assistant controller of the American Savings Bank in Hawaii, says the single sign-on makes it easier for the 125 bank employees who use SRC to move between the different applications. The bank, with $370 million of 2003 revenues, has been an SRC customer since 2001 and started using the new version in February. Previously, when the modules were less integrated, users had to type in URLs if they hadn't bookmarked the applications. "If you're not a good typist, you end up in strange places," Igawa says. Now, with a navigation panel on the left hand side, "budgeting, reporting–you're just a click away," she says.
