The House Oversight Committee has asked the Securities andExchange Commission to provide it with information on its hiring ofBooz Allen Hamilton consultants, including its payments to thefirm, Reuters reported. Last February, Reuters reported that theSEC had spent millions to hire Booz Hamilton to consult onstreamlining the agency.

Reuters says that committee chairman Darrell Issa, D-Calif.,said in a letter to SEC Chairman Elisse Walters that he wasconcerned about how the consultants' work related to that of SECCOO Jeffrey Heslop.
