The latest edition of the Knight Frank Wealth Report, released earlier this month, ranks 100 cities around the world for their appeal as places to invest, live, and spend time for ultra-high-net-worth individuals—defined as those with a net worth of more than $30 million, including their primary residence.

To identify the best cities for the ultra-rich, the study assessed and ranked each city against three main factors:

Wealth. Researchers looked at the number of both high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals in each city, using its proprietary wealth sizing model.
