IT Execs Boost Mobile Risk Management (Computerworld)

Just 46% of companies have policy in place governing use of mobile devices.

More than half of information technology executives say they are increasing risk management efforts related to employees’ use of mobile devices, according to a survey conducted by Computerworld. But only 46% of companies currently have a formal policy in place that governs the use of such devices.

A third of the 334 executives surveyed say they’re working with third-party providers on managing the risks related to mobile devices.
