Chinese exporters are starting to stockpile dollars because theydon't expect the yuan to appreciate much more, according to anarticle in the Wall Street Journal. In the past, companiestypically converted the dollars they took in into yuan as quicklyas possible. Companies' switch to hoarding dollars means banks haveless foreign currency in reserve.
