Companies’ ability to access huge amounts of information about their customers via Big Data doesn’t necessarily lead to better results, according to a HBR blog posting by Michael Schrage, a fellow at MIT Sloan School’s Center for Digital Business. Schrage argues that IT departments that embrace sophisticated analytics as an end in themselves will be disappointed.
