HSBC North America Holdings, the New YorkCity-based bank holding company with $23.6 billion in 2011 revenueand assets of $331 billion, appointed JackMcGinnis CFO. He replaces Edgar Ancona,who will retire. In addition to serving as finance chief for HSBCNorth America, McGinnis will retain his current position as CFO forHBSC USA, which he has held for the past two years. Earlier, he waschief accounting officer and controller of HSBC-North America and apartner for 16 years at Ernst & Young in the United States andCanada.

J.C. Penney, the $17.2 billion retailer, namedKen Hannah CFO. He succeeds interim CFOMike Kramer, who will continue as COO of thePlano, Texas-based company. Hannah, 43, most recently was CFO andpresident of solar energy at MEMC Electronic Materials. Previously,he served as senior vice president of finance at Home Depot, vicepresident of corporate audit staff and vice president of financialplanning and analysis at Boeing, and worked in finance at GeneralElectric and McDonnell Douglas.

Molson Coors Brewing, the $3.5 billion Denver,Colo.-based beer maker, appointed Gavin Hattersleyglobal CFO to replace Stewart Glendinning, who wasnamed CEO of the company's Ireland and U.K. business. Hattersley,49, most recently was CFO and executive vice president atMillerCoors, a joint venture between Molson Coors and SABMiller.Previously, Hattersley was senior vice president of finance atMillerCoors, CFO for SAB and worked for 10 years at BarloworldLtd.
