In response to increased Software as a Service (SaaS) popularity, Brabeion Software has introduced On Demand, an SaaS governance, risk and compliance tool that lets users respond swiftly to new regulatory requirements by eliminating the need for expensive upfront infrastructure investments. Brabeion says the new product, aimed at companies that want to jump-start their GRC efforts, provides a GRC suite with policy management tools, survey and assessment capabilities and compliance and risk dashboards. It also includes a library containing more than 30 regulations, 1,000 IT standards and 6,000 detailed technology controls with content from PricewaterhouseCoopers.

SaaS is growing fast. Research conducted by consultants THINKstrategies and Cutter Consortium indicates that a third of survey respondents already employ SaaS applications and another 37% are considering adopting on demand technology soon.
