Stuart Booth will resign as CFO, executive vicepresident and secretary of Central Garden &Pet, the $1.7 billion Walnut Creek, Calif.-based supplierand marketer of pet and garden products, when the company finds asuccessor. Booth will serve as a consultant to Central Garden &Pet and plans to work with other, non-competing companies as aconsultant.

Daniel Houser, 57, CFO and treasurer ofInternational Speedway Corp., the $787 millionDaytona Beach, Fla.-based motor sports entertainment producer, waspromoted from vice president to senior vice president. Houserjoined ISC in 1993 as division controller for its subsidiaryAmericrown Service Corp. and held several positions before beingnamed CFO last year. The promotion comes as the company announcesseveral executive changes, including the resignation of CEOJames C. France, 64.

Samuel Knoch becomes the first chief riskofficer of Michael Baker Corp., the $700 millionMoon Township, Pa.-based engineering and energy services supplier.Knoch previously served as CFO and treasurer of TollgradeCommunications. Prior to that, he worked as corporate controllerand director of internal audit at Amsco.
