So far signals are mixed on when the recession can be declared over and whether it's okay to feel even a little confident about the economy. Nearly 90% of the senior financial executives responding to Treasury & Risk's Biannual Economic Survey say the worst of the financial crisis is over, up from 70% six months ago. However, while the confidence index for the next six months crept up, the index for the next 12 months dropped slightly below where it was in July.
