Treasury & Risk Magazine's 2010 Alexander Hamilton Awards
Now Accepting Entries

New York, N.Y–Treasury & Risk magazine, the leading monthly business publication for senior financial executives, is now accepting entries for the 2010 Alexander Hamilton Best Practices Summit and Awards Program, scheduled for Oct. 28-29, 2010, in New York City.

Now in its 15th year, the awards program recognizes excellence in treasury management and honors the best and the brightest from corporate America's treasury and finance departments.

Over the years, the Alexander Hamilton Awards (AHA) have attracted hundreds of submissions from some of the nation's most resourceful and farsighted companies. Winning entries have come from such distinguished companies as: Adobe, Aon, Cisco, the City of Los Angeles, Ford, General Electric, Google, Hewlett-Packard, Honeywell, Intel, International Paper, McDonald's, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Paychex, Toyota Financial Services and the U.S. Postal Service.

"Last year's awards highlighted how important it was for treasury to be operating as a strategic partner to the business when the financial crisis hit," said Donna Miskin, Editor-in-Chief of Treasury & Risk. "I expect treasury departments have been working hard this year to broaden their scope, help their companies grow globally and ensure they keep their hard-won seat at the table. I look forward to seeing firsthand how treasury is evolving into its greater leadership role."

The 2010 award categories are the same as last year and include:

o Overall Excellence
o Best Green Strategy
o Cash Management
o Credit Risk Management
o Enterprise Risk Management
o Financial Risk Management
o Liquidity Management
o Retirement and Benefits
o Solution of the Year
o Technology Excellence
o Working Capital Management

Winners from each award category will be honored at the October awards ceremony and conference, which was attended last year by more than 250 senior-level treasury and finance professionals.

The deadline to submit entries is Wednesday, June 30, 2010. For complete award category descriptions and a full list of eligibility requirements and entry instructions, please download the Awards Entry Kit or visit www.alexanderhamiltonawards.com.
