A panelist at last week's Public Company Accounting OversightBoard (PCAOB) hearing on auditor rotation suggested having thePCAOB share the findings from its inspections of audit firms withthe audit committees of corporate boards, according to an articleon AccountingToday.com. That would require Congress to amend theDodd-Frank Act, but the panelist, C. Brian Fox, chief marketingofficer of Confirmation.com, told AccountingToday.com that heexpects Congress to be asked to enact such a change.
