Former New York governor David Paterson, who replaced Eliot Spitzer after his 2008 resignation, has been hired as chairman of risk management consulting company Icon Group Compliance Services, according to the New York Daily News. Paterson, who left office at the end of 2010, underwent multiple probes during his time as governor. Since the end of his term, he has hosted a daily radio show and done real estate and construction consulting.
