Despite a wobbling stock market and whisperings of a recession, it's still undeniably a job-seeker's market out there. But some areas are more attractive than others for today's workers. The Wall Street Journal has released its latest rankings of top job markets, based on data from Moody's Analytics. The top two areas have something in common: hot music scenes. Austin, Texas, once again tops the list of metro areas with more than 1 million people, coasting on its reputation as a college town and a tech hub—the later fueled by continued investment from Apple. Texas metro areas boast two spots among this year's top 10, as does California, despite a high cost of living and housing shortages. Among smaller metro areas, cities in Colorado and Texas continue to offer ample opportunities for jobs and wage growth. Which metro areas are among the top for job seekers?
