FXpress Corp., the Bala Cynwyd, Pa.-based treasury software company, has released FIRST S9, an updated version of its software-as-a-service (SaaS) treasury risk management and accounting product. FXpress says FIRST S9 includes a redesigned intercompany lending tool that can handle a wide range of loan practices, a new bank account management module with a bank account audit workflow that helps treasuries identify unused accounts, and new netting tools that can help make it easier to manage the costs of trading foreign exchange.

Transaction tax management software provider Sabrix has teamed up with ERP giant SAP to offer an outsourced transaction tax compliance service, Sabrix Managed Tax Service (MTS). MTS is designed to integrate with e-commerce and accounting systems and operates in a manner similar to outsourced payroll applications, offering a full range of tax compliance services, including tax calculation and returns preparation and filing. SAP BusinessObjects business intelligence software will be used to generate MTS reports.

NetSuite, an ERP, customer relationship management and e-commerce software provider for mid-market companies, says it will launch a Financial Planning module in the third quarter. The SaaS module aims to offer the sophisticated planning and "what if" modeling tools usually available to big companies as an on-site product for a higher cost, the company says.
